Roline Askew

This summer Mrs. Askew moved to Crescent with her husband Jim Askew who teaches a chemistry class at the high school. Before moving to Crescent, the Askews worked in the Howe, OK school district.

Mrs. Askew has a Bachelor of Science Degree from UCO in Edmond, OK and has done graduate work at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. While at Howe Mrs. Askew worked as Admin. Assistant to the Supertendent, as well as Directed the Mirgant Education program, and worked with the Title VII Indian Educaiton Program.

"Education is the power to think clearly." Before students can truly think, they need to gain a firm knowledge foundation. The knowledge-building process starts at birth and continues for a lifetime. Elementary years are very important, as it is where the basics begin and the love of knowledge is fostered.

The tutoring progam is here to help reinforce the learning process so that the student can "Learn Today - Lead Tomorrow".

Mrs. Askew can be reached in the Crescent School Library during regulary school hours. Please feel free to contact her any time about your student. She can also be reached by email at: raskew@crescentok.com
