GRADING POLICY FOR ENGLISH II, ENGLISH IV, AP LITERATURE AND COMPPOSITION

All work is due on the date specified by the teacher. Homework and assignments missed for absences can be made up without penalty with one day of make-up for each day missed. Students who return on the day of a test will be required to take the test if it was assigned before the student was absent. This also applies to homework if assigned before the student was absent. Late assignments not due to absence may be made up without penalty by attending pre-hour (7:00 - 8:00 AM) and working on the assignment with the teacher present. Any other late assignments not due to illness will receive a maximum of 60%.
