Your task is to complete the H2O phase diagram graphic above. Keep the graphic black and white. Use any computer program that will accomplish the task.
- Save the graph above to your computer.
- Label the independent variable axis as Temperature (oC).
- Label the dependent variable axis as Pressure (mm Hg).
- Add the exact temperature and pressure for the Triple Point to the axes (marks provided).
- Add the exact temperature and pressure for the Boiling Point to the axes (marks provided).
- Label the area of the diagram representing water's solid phase.
- Label the area of the diagram representing water's liquid phase.
- Label the area of the diagram representing water's vapor phase.
- Add and label an arrow showing melting.
- Add and label an arrow showing freezing.
- Add and label an arrow showing vaporization.
- Add and label an arrow showing condensation.
- Add and label an arrow showing sublimation.
- Add and label an arrow showing deposition.
- Add and label (with appropriate temperature and pressure) the Critical Point.
- Add the title "Phase Diagram of Water" above the top line of the graph.
- Resize the file to 400 pixels wide. Do not change the aspect ratio (proportions) when you resize.
