Class Description:

This semester long course examines the geographic and historic foundations of our state. Oklahoma's past is studied from its prehistory to the present. Particular emphasis is given to the relocation of the Five Civilized Tribes and the opening of the Indian Territory for white settlement. This semester course will include the cultural, economic, and political development of Oklahoma.
Requirements:
Successful completion required for all Crescent public school students.

Textbook
Pencil or pen
GRADING POLICY:
Students' grades are based on the Crescent Schools policies that are listed in the student handbook. Points are earned for tasks completed in and out of class. The points are all added together for the final grade. Points are earned for class work, homework, projects, quizzes, and tests.

            100% - 90% = A
89% - 80% = B
79% - 70% = C
69% - 60% = D
Below 60% = F
