MISSION STATEMENT:  Success for All Students

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Students must have completed Biology I.

Students will gain a higher understanding of Biology concepts.

• Ecology
• Viruses, Bacteria, Protists, and Fungi
• Plants
• Invertebrates
• Vertebrates
• The Human Body

Many projects will be assigned throughout the couse.

• Power Point Presentations
• Podcasting
• Research Paper
• Others at Teacher’s Discretion

GRADING POLICY:

I use a point system to determine grades. For example a homework assignment may have 20 questions and therefore, it will be worth 20 points.

Test – 100 points

  *Semester Test – Determined by school policy

Quizzes – Will be given periodically

      Homework – Given in moderation

      Labs – 25 points

   Grades will be determined by: cooperation, involvement, attitude, completion, precision, neatness, and/or any other criteria given by teacher.

**It is up to you to find out what work was missed if you are absent. **
