Our FCCLA officers welcomed students to school on this amazing Monday!!

Did you know the YMCA provides before and after school care on campus for our students at a discounted rate? If your student needs to be on site before 7:30 when the cafeteria opens, or after school, this is a great option. We are so happy to partner with the Y for student safety. Contact information for the YMCA is 4052828206 or asperry@ymcaokc.org if you are interested!

Welcome Coach Rhoads to the Tiger Family!!
Hello my name is Cooper Rhoads. I am from Sayre Oklahoma and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I was fortunate enough to play football and serve as a student coach for both football and softball while obtaining my bachelor's degree. I look forward to being a part of the tiger family and a member of the community. I’ll be teaching algebra one, physical science, and a member of the football and baseball coaching staff. GO TIGERS!

Welcome Ms. McCune to the Tiger Family! Hello! My name is Tiffany McCune, I am a Crescent resident and very excited to join the Tiger Family! I have been teaching for 3.5 years. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching 4th and 5th grade math, reading, science, and social studies. During the start of my teaching career, I had the pleasure and privilege to teach and work along the side of our amazing principal, Mrs. Trowbridge and Bridget Broome, a member of the Crescent community. I am excited to be teaching both elementary art and high school art 2 this coming school year. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2020. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and going to the dog park with my corgi, Penny Lane, who is a Crescent native from Broome Corgis! I am looking forward to a fantastic school year, filled with fun and the opportunity to help students explore their artistic talents.

Welcome Mrs. Bourgeois to the Tiger Family!!
My name is Alexia Bourgeois and I am so excited to begin teaching math at Crescent High School this year! I was born and raised in Whittier, CA and graduated from Mississippi State University (Hail State!) in Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics. I taught math at a high school in Mississippi for 1.5 years and recently moved to Oklahoma with my husband Michael who works at Oklahoma State University. I am committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all students where I can share my knowledge about math with them. I want to help students build confidence in their math and problem solving skills. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and my corgi Winston, watching movies, and traveling. I know this school year will be amazing and I can’t wait to meet everyone!

Update! All students will meet in the cafeteria to start Meet the Teacher Night!

Congratulations Reagan Carey!! Reagan was named the 2024 All-State Homecoming queen and scholarship recipient tonight!

Welcome Ms. Howze to the Tiger family!
My name is Mary Elizabeth Howze and I am so thrilled to be Crescent’s new music teacher. I am originally from Mobile, AL, I am recently engaged to my fiancé Caleb, and very excited to be moving to Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2023 with a Music Education Degree and this will be my second year of teaching. I am a professional violinist as well as a trained singer. I have experience in band, orchestra, choir, and theatre and I am excited to bring my experience to Crescent. As a fourth-generaKon teacher in my family I have seen the long-lasting impact that teachers can have on students and I am thankful that I get to continue that impact on all students that I teach. Music is a strong passion of mine and I look forward to cultivating an experience in my classroom where students can develop independence in their musicianship. Outside of the classroom I enjoy traveling, playing my violin, playing disc golf, going to see Broadway shows, and so much more. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a great school year. Go Tigers!
