Never heard of Potato Olympics? Neither had we until our fifth grade started hosting them a few years ago. Students learn all about the Olympic Games through research and competition . We love projects that encourage creativity, teamwork and the application of all those skills we've been learning!

One of our State Standards in First grade includes learning all about communities. Today, our first graders walked through town and got to tour: City Hall and the Police Department, Paper Pages Bookstore, the Post Office, Crescent Care Pharmacy, F&M Bank and the Fire Station We have a great community! Thank you to everyone who made this possible for our students-- and a special thanks to Officer Johnson, our school resource officer, for going with us!
