The game for Saturday has been moved to next Tuesday the 13th-- so cheer clinic will be at halftime of the girls game on Tuesday. Girls start at 6:30! See you then!

Art and FACS students visited the Dallas Museum of Art and the Galleria last week. DMA houses one of the most extensive collections of international art in the world!!









Look at all these book tickets! Students get a ticket when they read and reflect on books. We will have drawings for prizes at the end of the semester. Virtual days are perfect opportunities to READ! Did you know that reading for pleasure is a better indicator of how a student will succeed in life than standardized test scores?

Our third graders are learning what it would feel like to be Michelangelo by writing their spelling words on the "ceiling" of their desks!





Updates have been happening all over campus! Some are very noticeable. One of the ones you may not be able to see, but that we feel is extremely important is our curriculum! We have incorporated a huge amount of new curriculum materials--including elementary phonics, science and reading--high school math--middle school language arts, math, science and social studies.

Children's author Eileen Hobbs visited our Elementary and Middle School students today! She is the author of the Heath Cousins series. We had such a great time talking to her about her books and writing in general. Thank you Mrs Hobbs!!

Today was the 100th day of school!! We celebrated by dressing up, and by doing 100s of celebrations and activities! Thank you to our PTO for the awesome decorations!! What a fun day!









We are thrilled to announce that our Speech Squad has expanded to Middle School! Our new middle school elective began in January and they joined the high school for their first competition this weekend!
